TapIn was founded by Nick in February 2021 after he accepted an internship in San Diego, California. In the months leading up to his move, he struggled to connect with other interns, employees, and locals using existing social platforms. Information about the city, including safety and transportation, was scattered and difficult to trust. That experience sparked the idea for TapIn.
